Job Description

We are offering an internship opportunity to graduate students in the area of Data Science and Machine Learning (ML). The position on offer is that of a Data Analyst – Model Optimization - In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating existing case studies from company projects to assess and enhance model performance. Your primary focus will be on analysing current models, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing optimizations to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze case studies from past and ongoing projects to assess model performance.
• Evaluate existing models to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Propose enhancements to improve model accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with business goals.
• Collaborate closely with data scientists and engineers to refine model parameters, data preprocessing techniques, and performance metrics.
• Develop reports and visualizations using Power BI to effectively communicate findings and recommendations.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in model evaluation and optimization.
• Continuously improve model performance through data-driven insights and optimization techniques.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with experience in evaluating and improving machine learning models.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, or R.
• Solid understanding of performance metrics for machine learning models and optimization techniques.
• Experience working with large datasets and applying statistical methods to derive meaningful insights.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to drive data-driven improvements.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to identify inefficiencies and implement optimizations.
